Small but mighty - this kitchen was in desperate need of improvement. The new homeowners purchased the house knowing they would tackle the kitchen right off the bat. We got to work straight away on designing a new kitchen for them to enjoy using. We placed big importance on function and form. Storage was important - as much as humanly possible in a smaller, modest footprint. The aesthetic was always to remain Mid-Century - not veering away too far from when the home was built. We went all in on architectural details. Funky green floor tile, wood planks on the ceiling in the kitchen area, natural soapstone countertops, zellige style backsplash - oh the goodies we selected!
