Have a peak at the site progress on our Granite Ridge remodel. This project saw the removal of a structural wall that divided the kitchen from the living room. The previous layout did not function well for the young family of 5. With 3 small children under the age of 5, an open concept plan was the right design choice so mom and dad can have eyes on the kids while cooking in the kitchen. We replaced the windows, the hardwood floors, new tile in the front entry and a fireplace refresh in the living room. The kitchen is the heart of the home and the bulk of the renovation. We maximized practical storage in the kitchen along with a banquette in the corner nook with additional storage.
